Privacy Policy of VoxClear

Last Updated: April 10, 2026
Effective Date: April 10, 2026

VoxClear (hereinafter referred to as "the Product") is developed and operated by its development team (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). We deeply understand the importance of your personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to objectively explain how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Core Privacy Statement: Purely Local and Offline Operation

This Product features a purely local processing architecture. All your original audio/video files, recording data, transcribed texts, and AI-processed results are calculated and stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or transfer any of your audio, video, or text data to any cloud servers. The core audio/video processing and offline transcription features function fully in a completely offline state (without network connection).

2. How We Collect and Use Information

2.1 Device and Basic Operating Information
To ensure software stability, troubleshoot crashes, and synchronize paid subscription statuses, we collect your basic device information and network status via third-party SDKs (detailed in Section 4).

2.2 Core Features and Local Data Processing Rules
When providing services within the "JingYin Workspace", we perform the following data processing locally on your device:

3. System Permissions and Features Disclosures

To implement the features above, we need to request the following system permissions or utilize specific system characteristics. You have the right to deny authorization, which will only affect the use of the corresponding features, while other features will continue to function normally:

Permission/Feature Name Purpose and Usage Scenarios
Background Audio
(Background Modes)
When you put the app in the background or lock the screen during an active recording task, the iOS background audio mode is called to keep the microphone active. This guarantees your recording and noise reduction processes are not aborted by the system. We do not capture background audio when recording is not active, and all captured data is processed locally only.
Microphone Access
(Foreground)
Used for the "Ultra-Pure Recording" feature. It requests microphone access while the app is in the foreground, delivering audio recording services filtered of environmental noises via local AI noise reduction.
Live Activities Used to display the current recording status and duration clearly on the "Dynamic Island" or "Lock Screen Widgets" when the app is in the background or the screen is locked. This feature is solely used for local UI rendering and does not involve any data transmission.
Photo Library Access
(Read & Write)
Read: Used to import your actively selected video files for noise reduction, track splitting, or subtitle transcription.
Write: Used to save the processed audio/video or merged subtitle files securely into your system Photo Library when you click export.
File Sharing & Storage
(Documents in Place)
Supports the app in reading/writing external audio/video files locally, importing files needed for transcription, and exporting transcribed texts and advanced format audio files. Users can manage these files directly within the iOS native "Files" App.

4. Third-Party SDK Integrations

We only integrate essential basic component SDKs to ensure basic app operation and data analytics. This part does not involve collecting your core audio, video, or transcribed text data:

SDK Name Provider Information Type Collected Purpose
Umeng+ SDK Umeng 同欣 (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. Device Information: Device model, OS version, manufacturer, language, and time zone.
Device Identifiers: Anonymous basic device identifiers (such as IDFV; this app explicitly does not collect or use the IDFA advertising tracker).
Network Information: Network access method (Wi-Fi/cellular data), network status.
App & Log Information: App bundle ID, app version, launch time, duration of use, and crash logs.
App active usage analytics, crash detection, and bug fixing.

5. Your Rights and Data Management

6. Information Security Measures

We attach great importance to your information security. For core audio/video data and locally generated transcribed texts, we rely on the strict iOS Sandbox mechanism to ensure that your files run in local isolation, preventing unauthorized access. For basic device data collected by third-party SDKs, the service providers adopt industry-standard encryption technologies (such as HTTPS) for secure transmission.
Although we have taken the reasonable and effective measures mentioned above, please understand that due to technological limitations and various malicious means that may exist in the internet industry, it is impossible to always guarantee 100% absolute information security.

7. Protection of Minors

This Product is mainly intended for adults. We do not actively collect personal information from minors. Minors under the age of 14 should read this policy accompanied by their legal guardian, and use this Product only after obtaining their guardian's consent.

8. Updates to This Policy

As our business develops and relevant laws/regulations are updated, we may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes occur, we will ask for your consent again via pop-ups or prominent notices when you launch the App. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
